Our jewelry is made with your choice of Gold Fill or Sterling silver metal. This metal will not tarnish and can get wet.
Please note that the False 'Opihi are delicate shells and you should wear your jewelry with care. Please take caution wearing these earrings at times when you may be at risk of snagging or pulling. Such as playing sports, interacting with small children that may pull the jewelry, moving around bulky things, etc. We will also work with you to replace broken shells for small repair fee. (If the shells arrive broken and the fault is ours we will always replace at no cost to you)
Each shell is also unique, and may look different in it's shape, spines, and even shade. We will strive to select shells that are close to the photos. We do have other shell colors such as brown, tan, and near white that we can customize upon request. Please reach out to us on Instagram or e-mail to inquire about special orders.

False 'Opihi (False Star Limpets) are different than the endemic species of 'Opihi found in Hawai'i. True 'Opihi do have size limits regulated by law, however, false 'Opihi does not fall under the same category and does not have the same size requirements. These False 'Opihi are air breathing, and do not grow as large as true 'Opihi.
